The Fortress is ready for battle! One of the newest additions to our line of Fort Knox Mailboxes. This mailbox has the same mail storage as the Large Standard (2 weeks average), but is also set up for outgoing mail. The outside shell is made of the same 1/4" steel material, but with a new top door design, that swings downward. Behind this upper 3/16" thick steel door is an incoming mail slot and outgoing mail compartment. The Fortress mailbox includes an attractive satin chrome handle for easy access, a 7 pin pick-proof tubular lock, and also included is a 1/4" steel flag! Rear Access Door option is available.

The Standard Lock

7 PIN Tumbler Locks (round keyed)
These standard locks come with the Fort Knox Mailbox. They are a chrome plated "tubular" 7 pin key lock. Tubular locks are more durable (pick-proof) than the common keyed lock. The cams that hold the Fort Knox Mailbox doors shut are 1/8" steel which is thick enough to keep out the unwanted criminal. (2 keys included with lock).
